Pole Buildings
Pole buildings are easy and inexpensive to construct. These buildings use post framing construction techniques to build structures that are able to withstand the test of time. They can be used for anything ranging from simple storage to an actual residence.
Pole buildings are constructed using a series of posts for the foundation and then doing the framing on a horizontal axis. Posts are placed into the ground at each corner of the building, with several others along each wall. These posts are generally pushed several feet into the ground and can be secured using cement.
Once the posts are secured, framing is done by connecting the posts together using horizontally secured 2X4’s. For most pole buildings, once the framing is done, a concrete floor is then added and the exterior is appropriately finished.
